Our Clear & Fair Cancellation Policy
At Comover, we know that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be simple, predictable, and fair for everyone in our community.
Before a Booking is Confirmed
This is the simplest case. As long as a Host has not yet confirmed your booking request, both the Booker and the Host can cancel at any time. No charges, no fees, no problem.
After a Booking is Confirmed
Once a Host confirms your request, your Spot is officially reserved. From this point on, here is how cancellations are handled.
For Bookers:
Our policy is designed to give you flexibility while still protecting our Hosts who have reserved their space for you.
- Cancel within 15 minutes of booking: Full refund. We call this our "cooling-off" period in case you booked by mistake.
- Cancel more than 24 hours before check-in: You will receive a full refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours before check-in: The booking is non-refundable. This ensures our Hosts are compensated for holding their space, as it's unlikely they can find a new Booker at such short notice.
For Hosts:
Our community is built on trust and reliability. A cancellation from a Host is a serious disruption to a Booker's plans.
- If you cancel a confirmed booking, your Booker will always receive a full refund.
- To protect the integrity of the platform, you will also be charged a cancellation fee.
- Repeated cancellations may affect your listing's visibility and a note indicating the cancellation may be added to your Spot's public profile.
For Major Disruptions (Extenuating Circumstances)
We understand that true emergencies happen. If your plans are disrupted by a major event like a serious medical issue, natural disaster, or government-mandated closure, you may be eligible for an exception to these rules.
